Our Story

Three athletes.
One mission.

Founded in early 2026 by three Duke University decathletes, Jeani was built by people who lived the injury problem firsthand — and had the machine learning background to solve it.

Our Journey

The Athletes · Duke

Three Duke decathletes.

Michael Bennett, Stuart Bladon, and Ewan Bradley competed at the highest level of collegiate and international athletics. As Duke University decathletes — ten events, one competitor — they understood elite movement from the inside out. That foundation shaped everything Jeani became.

The Problem · 2022–23

Careers cut too short.

On the track, in the gym, and in competition, they watched talented athletes leave the sport early — not from lack of commitment, but from injuries that crept up silently. The tools to catch warning signs early existed only in specialist labs. Not in the real world, and never in time.

The Build · Early 2026

We built the answer.

Founded in early 2026, Jeani was born from a simple observation: the Apple Watch already captures the motion data that matters. Nobody had built the intelligence layer on top of it. Applying machine learning to raw sensor data, the team produced the world's first wearable joint health score.

Where We're Going · 2026 →

Every athlete. Every sport.

Jeani is expanding beyond running — to every sport, every wearable, every level of athlete. Partnering with sports medicine clinicians to validate our models. Building longitudinal science that predicts injury risk months before it becomes a problem.

The Next Frontier

The next frontier of health
isn’t living longer.
It’s staying active longer.

For a century, medicine chased a longer life. The frontier now is a more active one — how many years you stay strong, mobile, and doing what you love. Jeani is how you get there: reading the way you move so you can catch the small changes early, train smarter, and keep moving for longer.

Clinical validation

Partnering with sports medicine clinicians to validate our models against gold-standard gait analysis.

Sport expansion

Moving beyond running into cycling, swimming, team sports, and every other discipline where movement matters.

Predictive science

Building longitudinal models that predict injury risk months before it shows up as pain — not after.
